Dr. Dagmar Waldzus is a partner in the Hamburg office and has been practicing law with a focus on company law and commercial law since 1997.
In the field of company law / M&A, Dr. Waldzus specializes in accompanying transactions and providing advice for transactions, with this also applying in particular to the associated legal issues relating to banking and capital markets. She advises companies on all matters relating to company law, particularly with regard to restructuring and joint venture participations in Germany and abroad.
Legal issues relating to sales, especially licensing and franchising, form another focus. Dr. Waldzus advises licensors and franchisors when (master) licensing and franchising agreements are being set up and elaborated along with the associated contractual documentation and also advises them when they set up, develop and structure their franchise business.
In the field of corporate compliance, Dr. Waldzus supports companies when they establish guidelines and principles for implementing ethical conduct within the company and in combating corruption. She also works as an ombudsperson for an international corporation based in Hamburg where she is the contact for the employees of all of the European subsidiaries.
